About
Inspiration for 'Razor blazer' comes from the urban landscape - the colour and aggression of street life. With its punchy title and raunchy angular design, 'Razor blazer' looks like a comic book motif translated into three dimensions. A sense of menace pervaded Jesson's work at this time. Typically his pieces had jagged edges, like teeth, gears or gaping jaws, conjuring up images of tearing, wounding and blood.
