PLAN A VISIT

The Govett-Brewster Art Gallery is currently closed closed for up to two years to enable work on earthquake strengthening, deferred maintenance and renewals.

The Govett-Brewster team will be very active during the two years with off-site projects, touring exhibitions, public programmes and collaborations with other cultural organisations throughout Taranaki and New Zealand.

Please see our Events page for what's on.

During this transitional period, staff will be planning and preparing for the 2015 opening of the new combined facility.
