GOVETT-BREWSTER PUBLICATIONS

The Govett-Brewster Art Gallery's publications programme has been an integral part of the Gallery's mission since its opening in 1970. Catalogues accompany a significant number of the Gallery's exhibitions and artists' residencies.

The range of publications includes comprehensive writing from the Director and staff and key figures in the art world, lavishly designed and illustrated books, and in-depth analyses of the role of contemporary art in contemporary society.

Govett-Brewster publications have proven valuable reference sources for a wide range of subjects in contemporary art. These richly illustrated catalogues provide an enduring and lasting record of the Govett-Brewster's diverse exhibitions programme.
