The Govett-Brewster Art Gallery is a non-profit art museum primarily funded by New Plymouth District Council and relies on donations, grants and sponsorships to realise special projects that add value to the fabric of cultural life for the people of New Plymouth and New Zealand.
These contributions are essential to the Gallery’s mission of providing a contemporary art collection and a diverse programme of exhibitions and events that fosters the development and interpretation of contemporary art to new and existing audiences.
