SCHOOL PROGRAMME

The Govett-Brewster Art Gallery offers a comprehensive educational programme that aims to inspire and educate participants. Receiving Ministry of Education funding under the Learning Experience Outside The Classroom programme enables the Govett-Brewster to offer lessons free of charge to schools.

The education programmes are related directly to the four seasons of exhibitions annually. They are designed to support teachers' implementation of the New Zealand Curriculum and Te Marautanga o Aotearoa.

Each school term the Education Team generates a newsletter that outlines its education programmes.
