Exhibitions are complemented by events designed to enhance the Govett-Brewster Art Gallery experience for both general public and school visitors. Events include discussions, floor talks, lectures, films, workshops and performances. Holiday programmes for children are especially popular. Most Sundays at 11.30am the Govett-Brewster presents a free event for our diverse audiences. Young Visionaries, the Sunday art club for school children from years five to eight provides an opportunity for children to broaden their experience of art and the Govett-Brewster.
