NEW ZEALAND FILM ARCHIVE

The Govett-Brewster Art Gallery is home to a comprehensive video library through a joint project with the New Zealand Film Archive, Nga Kaitiaki o Nga Taonga Whitahua.

Over 200 titles are available for immediate viewing, covering short films, documentaries, historical footage, television programmes and advertising. The video library also includes numerous documentaries on New Zealand visual arts and artists, and a collection of Len Lye videos.

The New Zealand Film Archive database can be searched online, and additional titles ordered by the Gallery.
